Four GL 1500s hit the road in southern California to see just how good the X-Tractor equipped Gold Wing would perform out in the real world. The test bikes were a mix from a strong running high mileage 88 to a low mileage 97 and the results were all the same. In roll on tests at 60-70 and 80 mph, the X-Tractor equipped Wing pulled away quickly from the pack each and every time without exception. Sound Good? Well, that's not all!
Fuel consumption is reduced. Our 95 GL averages 45.5 mpg consistently running two up fully loaded with a fair amount of aggressive riding mixed in. The Tour Performance X-Tractor bolts on using all factory mounts and retains all body panels. All this and a sound that’s out of this world, yet conservative at cruise speed!!

The X-Tractor fits within the same dimensions as the stock middle chamber, quite an engineering feat considering the confined area. The relocation of the mufflers allowed us to build an ideal extracting unit for the Honda flat-6 motor. The Tulsa belly pan will function as intended because the X-Tractor mounts at the same level as the stock box. |
